• Guaranteed Access Parking
The main type of parking pass on Main Campus is the "Guaranteed Access Parking". This type of parking pass is paid in advance for four month cycles. Lots on campus are specified for this purpose. The holders of a guaranteed access pass are always guaranteed a parking space for the four months that they have paid for. Access to lots is either through card access or through having a hangtag placed somewhere on their vehicle.
The rates for this type of parking are based on the users status. Employees, commuter students, and overnight resident students are the three categories. Each one has different prices for one month or four month parking passes.

• Debit Card Parking
University Parking Services offers also offers a debit card parking service. The debit card requires that the parker purchase a hangtag that is valid for one academic year at a cost of $66. Debit parking also requires the parker to pay in advance for a minimum of 25 parking entries, which costs around $128. These parking entries may also be used in the evening when parking is discounted and would equal around 50 entries.
The debit parking system only guarantees parking if there is an open space. It does not promise available parking at all times as is available in the Guaranteed Parking program.

• Cash Parking
University Parking Services also offers cash parking on an as available basis. The daily rate for parking is $12. Parking rates are also charged on an hourly basis, but only available in two and three hour increments at $5 for the first hour and $6 for the third. Cash parking is only available on a daily basis in specified parking lots. If the parking ticket issued upon entering the lot is lost, the parking fee is $20.
